This Is why many of us remain silent. And even when we start to talk out about our emotional health issues, we will usually maintain our silence about alcohol. After all, why do we tattle-tale on our preferred coping mechanism? Unfortunately, this contributes to worsening mental health and addiction symptoms.
This Was the case for me until I reached out for help and quit drinking. My father stayed quiet, continued his drinking, and paid the ultimate cost.

But, Why people stay silent in their alcohol issues, is because they believe it helps them deal with their emotional well-being. However, what if people understood more about the effects of alcohol and why it leaves their mental health worse?
Yes, A lot of us know that excessive drinking is not great for us, but the majority of us don’t know why. More so, when you’re hanging by a thread as a result of severe depression, you may need a damn good reason to give up the 1 thing that you believe helps , right?
